Job Description
The Manager of ePrint and Mailroom works closely with customers and staff to provide exemplary graphic solution services, make improvements and develop new cost-effective approaches and solutions for the College.
The Manager directs the daily operations of ePrint, mail, and external portals, enterprise print management, and other forms of design media at ePrint.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervises ePrint and Mailroom staff, services, business and production operations, processes, and resources of the Printing, Print Management and template design software, and Mailing Solutions Units.
- Evaluate and develop solutions based on needs assessment, acquisition, placement, operation, maintenance, evaluation and effective usage of the enterprise fleet of copier/printer/fax machines and student copiers.
- Develop software templates, web pages, inventory and equipment pricing of software within ePrint while maintaining workflows and oversee software applications to assure timely and efficient processing of departmental work.
- Monitor cash drawer and cash counts for deposits.
- Develop and maintain ePrint strategies to maximize the needs of the customers within the college and external customers.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and assure that all equipment and work areas are maintained at the highest levels to maximize efficiency and maintain high production and quality standards.
- Oversee the timely purchasing of materials, supplies and external services required to produce customer requests, and monitor the quality of products and services to assure they meet the requirements of the College and the customer.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity history, departmental performance and operating costs.
- Trained Knowledge of Print Management Software
- Must be well versed in the operation and application of technology used in the industry including digital print technologies such as color management and variable data and trans-promotional printing
- Trained in Adobe software
- Knowledge of web building
- Knowledge of USPS regulations and mailing standards)
- Maintain accurate cost and price lists for all services and materials, and assure customers are properly billed for services and products they receive.
- Regular attendance during normal scheduled hours is required. Being present is essential for serving customers and performing the essential functions of this position.
- Other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education Credentials
- Bachelor degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business and/or related field or 3-5 years of Higher Education printing experience.
- Degree or certificate in Print Management
Work Experience
- Minimum of three to five years of print management and business practices
- Experience working with or in a printing environment with knowledge of paper and printing processes
- Must be proficient in Acrobat, Imposition, print management, imposition and file manipulation software
- High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a procurement team.
- Must have experience in running digital print equipment
