About the Role 

Shape the future of Swinburne’s student community.

We’re seeking an energetic and relationship driven School Recruitment Team Leader to champion Swinburne within the secondary schools market and play a key role in achieving our domestic enrolment goals.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll build meaningful partnerships with schools and key influencers, elevate awareness of Swinburne’s offerings, and inspire school-aged learners to see their future with us. You’ll lead a high-performing team to deliver impactful outreach, craft an annual calendar of recruitment activity, and bring the Swinburne Schools Engagement Strategy to life.

You’ll shape recruitment priorities and contribute to the development of Swinburne’s Schools Recruitment Strategy, ensuring our engagement is purposeful, inclusive, and drives real results.

About You 

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing an indirect sales channel in a service industry including account strategy and plans, use of a CRM and planning and executing to meet KPI’s.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and the ability to provide advice to effectively work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Extensive experience in written and oral communication including excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
  • High-level time management and organisational skills including ability to prioritise tasks, manage budgets and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proven expertise in the management of people and projects including experience in prioritising, monitoring and evaluating work performance and coordinating staff for the effective delivery of events and programs.
  • Knowledge of secondary and tertiary sectors including VTAC application and selection processes and Higher education reforms.

Qualifications

A degree in Marketing/Communication, Business Management, Education or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
