The University of Wollongong is seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking learning and development leader to guide the creation of the UOW Academy—our centre for professional, academic and capability development.
About the Role
In this leadership role, you’ll design and deliver impactful learning experiences that uplift capability, strengthen leadership, and support career growth across our diverse University community. Working closely with senior leaders, academic experts and partners across UOW, you’ll ensure our solutions are contemporary, inclusive and anticipating future workforce needs.
You’ll lead a small, talented team and collaborate with key internal stakeholders and partners to bring high‑quality, values‑aligned development offerings to life. You’ll have the scope to innovate, influence and shape a cohesive learning ecosystem that supports UOW’s strategic direction.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications and strong experience in L&D, OD or similar.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging blended learning programs.
- Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing external vendors.
- A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and values‑led development.
