Job Summary
The Managing Director of the Center for Finance and Technology will work in consultation with the faculty director of the Center for Finance and Technology and Center-affiliated faculty in the establishment of program goals, recruitment of students, development of program materials, scheduling Center's curricular and extra-curricular programming, organizing student teams/projects, facilitating corporate affiliate relationships, and overseeing events and meetings. The position will supervise Center staff and student assistants; and develop strategies, programs, and activities to achieve the goals of the Center and be responsible for their successful implementation. The Managing Director is expected to be take an active role in industry outreach, partnership development and fundraising.
The responsibilities will include consulting, coordinating, and collaborating with Alumni, Benefactors, Development officers, Administrators and Faculty members in the Scheller College of Business, the College of Engineering, the College of Computing, and other Colleges at Georgia Tech. In addition to the above, the position would participate in the teaching and/or co-teaching of Center classes and workshops, experiential learning projects sponsored by the center as well as administration/coordination of the capstone project and pre-capstone-project courses. The position would lead development and fundraising through proposal development and gift development for the Scheller College of Business and/or Georgia Tech.
Required Qualifications
Substantial bases of experience, normally at least ten (10) to fifteen (15) years, and a national/international reputation for excellence.
Have rich and extensive backgrounds in fields and disciplines related to the school or college of appointment at the Institute.
