Position Summary: The Department of Journalism and Media Production at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. Responsibilities:

• Teach 3 - 9 credit hours. Areas to be taught are courses in writing, video, and interactive media production at the 1000-level or above. Such courses may include, but are not limited to: Basic Video Production, Introduction to Media Production, Basic Video Editing, Streaming Media Technologies, Critical Thinking Through 21st Century Media, and others.
• Be available for consultation with students

An affiliate faculty member's duties may include but are not limited to: teaching assigned classes in person or online... complying with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies...

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Technical Communication or a related field, plus five years of experience in the field

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Media Production, Technical Communication or a related field, and at least five years of professional, full-time experience in media production

Terms of Employment: Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis... Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
