Job Summary:
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Engages in the Rec Well professional internship development curriculum, all staff meetings, divisional committees, and other professional development responsibilities and opportunities.
- Prepares and monitors budgets and purchases expenditures as needed
- Coordinates logistics for events and programs
- Develops targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
- Identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised operational policies and procedures
- Assists in implementing the staffing resource allocation plan including hiring, training, and supervision
Department: Member Services
Compensation: $22.50/Hour
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience hiring, supervising, and mentoring student employees
- Ability to manage merchandise, equipment, and inventories
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in management software such as Fusion, SubItUp, Connect2Concepts, or Microsoft 365
- Experience operating recreation, sport, or fitness areas
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a higher education setting for a minimum of one year (preferred)
Education:
- HS Diploma – Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Achieve or advancing towards Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
