SMART MOBILITY AND LOGISTICS LAB (SML):
The Smart Mobility and Logistics Lab (SML) at Sabancı University specializes in transport logistics and mobility planning. This includes areas such as urban transportation, first-mile and last-mile pickup and delivery operations, long-distance logistics, humanitarian logistics, electromobility, and sustainable logistics chains. The SML team possesses extensive expertise in logistics and transportation research, enabling them to tackle complex problems through systematic modeling and effective solutions using operations research tools and techniques. The lab focuses on research projects related to urban mobility, humanitarian logistics, and sustainable transport planning, with particular attention to route optimization, the electrification of logistics vehicles, and battery performance analysis.
