NADP Coordinator
This position serves as the National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) Principal Investigator/Coordinator and Research Scientist at the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene (WSLH) / University of Wisconsin-Madison. It involves coordinating and leading efforts to advance NADP's programmatic goals and network operations, providing scientific support for NADP networks, and managing reporting, budgetary control, and annual meetings.
Responsibilities include working with NADP committees, establishing research programs in atmospheric sciences and air quality, securing funding, publishing research, and potentially teaching one to two courses per year.
Key duties encompass programmatic responsibilities like data dissemination, outreach, and collaborations, as well as academic endeavors such as developing research projects and writing grant proposals.
Preferred qualifications include experience in atmospheric deposition research, laboratory work, project management, and strong communication skills. Education required: PhD in relevant fields.
