Non-Tenure-Track Position in Elementary Music Education, Natalie L. Haslam College of Music, Fall
Description
Nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment at the rank of Lecturer/Teaching Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2026.
Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in elementary/general music methods and additional undergraduate and graduate courses in area(s) of expertise, coordinating field experience courses, and supervising elementary and middle school music student teachers/interns.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate/PhD or ABD in music education or related area;
- expertise and training in elementary music education;
- successful teaching experience as an elementary music educator.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful teaching experience in a music teacher education program
- Experience with elementary music teaching methodologies.
