Class Description

This is a 10-month full time faculty position for the Essex Campus. Faculty member is responsible for teaching both didactic and clinical instruction in the Associate Degree Nursing Program. Teaching responsibilities include traditional face to face format in the day and evening program. This position focuses predominately on Medical-Surgical Nursing. Participates in committees, student advising, nursing program initiatives and college community activities.

Coming Soon: Nursing Faculty Position – Medical-Surgical, Catonsville Campus CCBC will soon post a full-time, 10-month faculty position in Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Catonsville Campus. This role will involve teaching didactic and clinical courses in the Associate Degree Nursing Program. Stay tuned for the official posting and application details.

Minimum Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland. Master’s degree in nursing teaching experience preferred; and recent clinical experience Medical/Surgical background is highly desirable.

Class Specific Essential Duties

1. Provide didactic and clinical instruction in Medical Surgical Nursing.
2. Coordinate classes in Medical Surgical.
3. Coordinate adjunct faculty assigned to Medical Surgical courses.
4. Conduct simulated Medical Surgical experiences.
5. Participate in Nursing Program Committees as assigned.
