Office Associate

Support the work of the Buros Center for Testing, an internationally recognized leader in advancing the quality of testing and assessment. This role provides administrative and operational support for test review activities, information services, and daily center operations. The position also serves as a key point of contact for visitors, researchers, and professionals seeking information about tests and measurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact by answering phones, responding to inquiries, and assisting visitors
  • Support test review and information services by preparing and organizing materials and responding to requests
  • Coordinate daily office operations including mail and shipping, supplies, equipment, and conference room and library scheduling
  • Process and track financial and purchasing activities including deposits, royalty payments, e-commerce sales, and purchasing transactions
  • Prepare correspondence and compile reports to support center operations
  • Assist with onboarding graduate assistants and new staff members
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and special events, including the National Advisory Council annual meeting
  • Work with campus partners to support the center's programs and resolve operational needs

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience plus four (4) years of experience providing administrative or office support or other related experience; OR
  • Associate degree in business or related field plus two (2) years of related experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, or similar software to organize and manage information.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an academic or corporate office setting preferred but not required.
