Oncology and Infusion Pharmacy Supervisor (Parnassus)
Involves all aspects of the medication use process, including procurement, prescribing, compounding, dispensing, storage of medications, administration and monitoring. Partners with physicians and other clinicians to provide treatments and advice to patients, records patient history relating to medication use and ensure the safe and secure storage of medications and related supplies. Stays current on pharmacy regulations, treatments and developments in research and design and advises providers on regulatory requirements and pharmacologic treatment options. Pharmacists are the experts on drug therapy and the primary health professionals who optimize use of medication for the benefit of the patients. Supports the educational needs of patients, healthcare teams, students and residents. Leads and mentor other oncology pharmacists and pharmacist trainees.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $148,700 - $254,800 (Annual Rate).
