The Acting Program at the David Geffen School of Drama (DGSD) at Yale University seeks a teacher of Speech and Accents to join a dedicated faculty of theater artists and professionals.

With an emphasis on the individual and commitment to being an advocate and partner in the evolution and expansion of each student’s unique and distinctive artistic self, the Acting Program at DGSD is seeking a faculty collaborator who has flexibility in adapting and synthesizing methodologies to the needs of a widely diverse community of actors in training and who possesses a high degree of skill and expertise at broadening the actors range of imaginative vocal expression, dynamic transformation and sensory relationship to language.

The David Geffen School of Drama, in partnership with Yale Repertory Theatre (YRT), trains and advances leaders in the practice of every theatrical discipline, making art to inspire joy, empathy, and understanding in the world. DGSD’s and Yale Rep’s core values are artistry, belonging, collaboration, and discovery: working together our community comprises eight three-year MFA programs—Acting, Design, Directing, Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism, Playwriting, Stage Management, Technical Design and Production, and Theater Management—as well as a one-year Technical Internship program.
