About the role:

The Operations and Research Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Faculty’s operations and research activities. In this position, you will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across research, HDR candidature and faculty operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive problem solver who enjoys improving processes, working with digital systems and contributing ideas in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of administrative and research policies, processes and systems to enhance the experience of staff and students.
  • Support HDR candidature management, including monitoring the HDR portal, coordinating seminars and events, administering faculty scholarships and maintaining student databases.
  • Assist faculty researchers across the research lifecycle, including budget preparation, compliance requirements and post-award support.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Faculty HDR students, academics and researchers.

About you:

You are a tech-savvy, analytical thinker with strong digital literacy and a natural curiosity for how things can be done better. You approach challenges with critical thinking, enjoy streamlining processes and are confident working with data, systems and spreadsheets.

As part of a small, vibrant team, you communicate clearly, work well with others and are comfortable taking ownership while supporting colleagues when needed.
