Job Description

The responsibilities of the successful applicant include didactic and clinical teaching of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the dental student, dental resident, and fellow levels, in the outpatient and inpatient settings, scholarly activity, institutional service and participation in school governance. Candidates should demonstrate a clear potential for academic growth in teaching, scholarship and service.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

DDS/DMD (or foreign equivalent) degree from a CODA-accredited dental school/college. Certificate from a CODA-accredited Advanced Dental Education Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the time of employment. Eligible for, or has, a New York State Dental license. Experience in and an appreciation for the interdisciplinary care of patients with other dental specialists.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A record of research and/or scholarly activity. Experience teaching dental students and general practice dental residents.
