O/S On-Call Worker-Security

Description of Work:

The Security Guard is responsible for the safety and security of visitors, staff, collections, building, and other assets of the Sheldon Museum of Art. Work as a team with Visitor Experience Associates to provide an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for personnel, volunteers, interns, and visitors. Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and maintain an alert attention to surroundings.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High School Education or GED
• Previous security experience with public contact or customer service experience
• Ability to meet challenges calmly and skillfully
• Possess enthusiastic customer service skills
• Possess excellent communication skills

Posted Salary: $16.00/hr
