The Department of Psychology (https://psychology.wvu.edu/) at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. Areas of need could include, at the undergraduate level, general Psychology, advanced behavior analysis and behaviorism, research methods, neuroscience, and development across the lifespan. Areas of need at the graduate level could include coursework and practicum supervision in behavior analysis, lifespan development, foundational neuroscience, or clinical psychology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person or online courses in the Department of Psychology's undergraduate and graduate programs.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis.
Qualifications
These positions require a master's or doctoral degree in psychology or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master's degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
