Position Summary:

The Department of Health Professions at the Rollins College Hamilton Holt School invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis. Associate Professor may be considered if commensurate with experience. This is a 12-month position to begin in August 2026.

The Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Science is a 45-credit-hour, cohort-based program that provides training in the experimental, applied, and conceptual domains of behavior analysis. It is accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). The position includes teaching courses in the Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Science master's program. The teaching load is 18 credit hours to be distributed over 12 months. This may include courses over the summer semester. Courses include Thesis/Capstone, Practicum, and other ABA courses depending on the applicant's specialization and interest areas.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:

  • Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related discipline, preferably from an ABAI-accredited program, for which the candidate conducted a behavior analytic dissertation. ABD will be considered but doctoral requirements should be completed by August 2026.
  • Certified and in good standing as a BCBA® or BCBA-D® and completion of the BACB®-required supervisor training by start date.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical ABA experience (additional clinical administrative skills preferred).
  • Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in the form of teaching evaluations.
  • Evidence of research productivity in the form of presentations and/or publications is preferred.
  • Experience in organizational behavior management, experimental analysis of behavior, radical behaviorism, verbal behavior or acceptance and commitment therapy is preferred.
  • Evidence of success securing external funding is preferred.
