Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering areas including circuits and electronics, electromagnetics, signal processing, digital design, embedded programming, and networking. Most courses are face-to-face, and may have daytime or evening meeting times.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses: A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire. OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
To teach graduate courses: A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.
