Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in the Department of Dance
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Dance for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in the lower division, including but not limited to, Dance and Society.
- Teaching in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online)
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Dance or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
OR
- Professional teaching experience, along with at least seven years of professional experience in the field at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of two years collegiate and/or professional teaching experience
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
