Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in one or more of our interdisciplinary programs of study, which include American Studies; Black Studies; Gender and Women's Studies; Interdisciplinary Studies; Latin American and Latinx Studies; Leadership Studies; Native American and Indigenous Studies; Peace and Justice Studies; Religious Studies; and Studies in Science, Technology, and Society.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in the teaching discipline or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
