Part Time Clinical Instructor - Speech Pathology

Nevada State University actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Nevada State invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person courses in Speech Pathology.

Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.

Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Courses range from 1-3 credits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or closely related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence - ASHA CCCs.
  • Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Nevada.
  • Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience working with pediatric populations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
  • Experience as a graduate supervisor.

Full-Time Equivalent 22.5%
