Part-Time Culinary Faculty Instructor
Description
Teach seated curriculum culinary classes. Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as a part-time curriculum faculty member. Responsible for delivering instruction to a diverse student population using not only various course delivery methods (e.g., seated, online, hybrid, etcetera) but also various course delivery lengths {e.g., 16-week, 12-week, 8-week, etcetera).
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in the food service industry, excellent knife skills, effective communication skills, and an excellent knowledge of the culinary arts, required. Teaching experience with lesson plan writing, instructional menu development, and familiarity with budget creation and purchasing, preferred. Prior experience supervising restaurant operations or chef experience, preferred.
Start date: 1/6/2026
Salary: Based on education.
