Part-Time Faculty: MFT 773 Family Violence (Summer 2026)

Location: Syracuse, NY - (online)

Pay Range: $1,440 per credit hour

Job Description:

The College of Arts and Sciences seeks an instructor to teach MFT 773 Family Violence - Online Sync Thursdays 5:30pm-7:30pm. 5/11/2026 - 8/21/2926. Systemic approach to assessment and treatment of family violence. Child, spousal, and parental abuse.

Qualifications:

• MA or PhD, and previous teaching experience. LMFT or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and/or updating class syllabus
• Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments
• Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours
• Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course
• Meeting all designated class periods
• Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations
• Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty
