Job Summary
Deliver course teaching in the School of Arts and Sciences to include coordination and develop programs for on campus, blended, and online modalities. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching within a comprehensive State college, student engagement, college service, community involvement, and the promise of scholarly achievement.
Responsibilities
Teach a variety of division courses (upper and lower level) in the respective areas.
Teach courses in various modalities (campus, blended & online) and on weekends and evenings.
Familiarity with multiple delivery systems, including blended, online, and face-to-face learning format.
Familiarity with advising students in undergraduate course programs and in application for graduate programs and employment opportunities.
Familiarity or experience working with student populations or completed coursework demonstrating
College and School service, including student organizations, assistance, and sponsorships
Experience in any area (police, courts & corrections) in the criminal justice field
Required Qualifications
Education:
Master¿s degree or higher in the relevant field, or related field;
Applicants holding a Master's or higher degree in any field who also possess 18 graduate semester hours in their discipline can also qualify. All academic coursework must have been completed at an institution accredited by a regional accreditation agency, such as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC).
Experience:
Successful teaching experience in higher education setting.
Proposed Salary
$700/course credit hour
