"Part-time Lecturer, Engineering (Temporary Employee Pool)"

Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of the Pacific invites applications for part-time, non-tenure-track positions, to teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Engineering and related disciplines. Applicants with qualifications to teach any undergraduate, graduate, and non-major courses in engineering or research methods are invited to apply. An MS or doctorate degree is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Master's Degree (MS) or completing a Master's Degree by December 2024.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree or completing a doctorate degree by December 2024.
• Ideal candidates will have prior college-level teaching experience, a positive attitude, and proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations, and a commitment to promote diversity and inclusion.
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
