Central is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner (Data & Project Management) to play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape, strengthening our HRIS capability, and supporting high‑quality P&C services across the School.
Working within a small, collaborative P&C team, you will lead on the development, integrity and optimisation of our people data, ensuring our HRIS delivers accurate, timely and meaningful insights. You will lead on statutory reporting (including HESA, UCEA, Gender Pay Gap and Ethnicity Pay Gap), workforce dashboards, data governance, and project management for HRIS implementation and enhancement.
Alongside your data and systems expertise, you will act as a trusted partner to departments across the School with the area Business Partners, supporting complex employee relations cases and contributing to policy development. This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and brings both analytical strength and people‑centred leadership.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases
- Strong HRIS, data governance and analytics capability
- Experience producing statutory returns (HESA, UCEA, Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap etc)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent employment law knowledge
- The ability to translate complex data into accessible insights
- Confidence working collaboratively across academic and professional services teams
