Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician participates in pharmaceutical care by assisting the pharmacist in drug preparation, drug distribution, purchasing and inventory control, drug packaging, and drug delivery.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the California State Board of Pharmacy
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year hospital Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
