"PhD Position on Mathematical Foundations for Explainable AI"

Join the Korteweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam for a PhD position in mathematical machine learning, focusing on mathematical foundations for explainable AI. This project, funded by the Dutch research council (NWO), involves developing new mathematical techniques to explain AI's internal mechanisms by generating understandable explanations from machine learning models.

• A 4-year contract (initially 18 months) for 38 hours per week.
