Physical Therapist- Neuro
The Brighton Center for Specialty Care is a University of Michigan Ambulatory Care facility dedicated to providing high quality health care services for adults and children. The brand new 2-story facility is located at 7500 Challis Rd. Brighton, MI. We are actively seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-oriented individuals who will share in the goal of creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and employees.
Required Qualifications
- If licensed prior to 2016: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or basic MS.
- If licensed on or after 2016: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and Clinical Internship is necessary
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
- This position requires Primary Source Verification
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with rehab equipment recommended
- 1-3 years of multidisciplinary rehab experience - including experience with prosthetic gait training and at least two of the following diagnoses: Vestibular, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, or Parkinson's Disease
This position is full-time, working a day shift. This position will require two closing shifts per week.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
