Physician Assistant
Job Summary
University Health Services is hiring an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in a primary care-focused role providing care to UW-Madison students in a collaborative, team-based setting. This 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) position supports our mission to promote, protect, and improve student health and well-being.
Key Job Responsibilities
- May provide expertise, training, and guidance to the community, peers, and/or students
- Develops, implements, collects data, and evaluates health care services as directed by individual care plans
- Develops individualized care plans based on medical assessments in accordance with medical best practices and established rules and regulations
- Educates patients and their support systems on how to manage conditions and to promote the health and well-being of patients and those around them
- Assesses, diagnoses, and treats illnesses, and manages chronic health problems

UHS Medical Services provides high quality medical services to UW-Madison students with specialties in primary care, gynecology, sexual health, travel medicine, allergy and immunization, and physical therapy. Our clinicians also provide a wide range of preventative care in support of the UHS overarching mission of promoting students' academic and personal success through an integrated model of medical, mental health, and prevention activities and services.
Compensation
The starting salary is $95,824.00 and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
