Job Summary

First line supervisor for the patrol officers... Interaction with the Augusta Community...

Responsibilities

• Reviews and daily approves written incident reports...
• Performs annual, monthly, weekly, and daily assessments...
• Reviews, maintains and prepares shift training records...
• Performs the duties of a police (peace) officer...
• Monitors and reviews the activities of the patrol officers...
• Responsible for making all appropriate emergency notifications...
• Perform mandatory reporting and response duties as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) pursuant to the Clery Act.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent...

POST certified Police Officer with two years' of experience as a Police Officer

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have first aid skills and possess moral and ethical character

A valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Federal Communication's Rules and Regulations

One year supervisory experience and an AA degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality... Excellent interpersonal... Proficient in Microsoft Office...

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days/M-F

Pay Band: 11

Salary: Minimum $27.21/hour - $30.41/hour

Recruitment Period: 12/15/25 - Until Filled.
