Department: Anesthesiology
Job Title: Post-Doctoral Fellow
Position #: 00823533 - Requisition #: 33910
Job Summary
Nature of Work
A post-doctoral position is available to study the non-canonical mechanisms by which immune complement proteins modulate cortical network function (see Phadke et al., 2023, bioRxiv). In our lab, we utilize a variety of methods and approaches to analyze biological mechanisms. These include in vivo calcium and dendritic spine imaging using multiphoton microscopy, in vivo calcium imaging using 3D-printed miniature microscopes to record neural activity in freely moving rodents, spatial transcriptomics, generation of genetic mouse models, transsynaptic circuit mapping, optogenetic interrogation of neural circuits, and the use of electrophysiological methods.
Professional Field
Neuroscience Research
Supervision Received
