Post Doctoral Scholar
The Post Doctoral Scholar will conduct advanced research in environmental health and engineering with a focus on viral dynamics in built environments. The scholar will perform computational and laboratory-based research to investigate viral deactivation under varying environmental conditions. This position will contribute to data analysis, experimental design, scholarly publications, and research reporting in support of funded research projects within the laboratory.
Required Qualifications
Required: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience conducting independent research. Experience with data analysis and interpretation of research results. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
Desired: Preferred candidates will have experience using MATLAB for data analysis, modeling, or computational research, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply MATLAB in a research environment. The postdoctoral scholar should be highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects across institutional partners. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and institutional standards.
