Postdoc position on Data enhanced physical reduced order Models
Job Summary
The position is embedded into a large-scale effort between academic groups in the Netherlands and industrial partners to reduce CO2 emissions in steel production using machine learning. You will work on a theoretical and an applied project on data-enhanced physical reduced order models and will act as a data science expert for other consortium partners.

Work on theoretical and applied projects involving data-enhanced physical reduced order models, and serve as a data science expert for consortium partners.
Qualifications and Requirements
You are an enthusiastic and highly motivated researcher with a PhD in Mathematics or a similar field. Knowledge of model reduction, physics, and/or chemistry is helpful. You have a creative mindset, excellent analytical and communication skills, good team spirit, and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment. You are fluent in English.
What the Employer Offers
Appointment for 18 months full-time in a stimulating scientific environment. Salary between €3,546 and €5,538 per month based on experience. Benefits include a holiday allowance of 8%, a year-end bonus of 8.3%, solid pension scheme, flexibility to work from home, free access to sports facilities, minimum 232 leave hours for full-time employment, and support for research and personal development.
