Position Summary

Prof. Qing Lin in the Department of Chemistry seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to join his group. This position involves the development of bioorthogonal chemical probes to study biomolecular structure and function in living systems. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biological chemistry, and/or chemical biology. The candidate should be self-motivated and capable of carrying out the project independently. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Duties may include:

• Organize and implement research plans
• Develop methods or research that incorporate highly specialized training in chemistry
• Conduct experiments and collect data
• Analyze, evaluate, and present findings in professional journals

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry or a related field

Salary Range
$47,500 - $55,000
