Carnegie Mellon University's department of Mechanical Engineering is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by engaging in the research and development of a robotic concrete 3D printing system and other tasks that are assigned to you.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform the research and development of robotic concrete 3D printing systems
- Write academic papers
- Assist graduate students working in the lab
- Manage the relationship with research sponsors
- Present and report the project progress to research sponsors
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
- 1-3 years of experience
- Industry research and development related to robotics and automation
- Experience in using industrial robotic arms and mobile robot platforms
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
