Exciting Postdoctoral Opportunity at Michigan’s Frankel Cardiovascular Center!

We’re dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias through cutting-edge New Approach Methodologies (NAMs). Our collaborative, dynamic research team is on the lookout for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to help drive groundbreaking discoveries.
This post-doctoral research fellow will join an ongoing project to determine the causes and treatments of cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. The research fellow will be responsible for utilizing human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived models and animal models to study molecular mechanisms of arrhythmias, the effects of current treatments and identify new therapeutic targets. This person will be responsible for preparing research models, collecting and analyzing data, and manuscript drafting.
Who are we looking for?
- A PhD with a strong passion for cardiovascular science
- Preferably with hands-on experience in hiPSC-CMs and/or electrophysiology
