"Postdoctoral Research Associate"

The Schroeder Group at Princeton University (https://cbe.princeton.edu/people/charles-schroeder) is searching for a postdoctoral associate or senior researcher in the areas of soft materials and polymer physics. The successful candidate will develop strategies to design, synthesize, and characterize the properties of soft materials using advanced microscopy techniques and related methods. Candidates who are nearing completion of their Ph.D. (i.e. with a confirmed defense date) or hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field are particularly encouraged to apply.

We seek candidates with expertise in some or all the following areas: colloidal suspensions, lipid vesicles, polymer physics, active materials, single molecule biophysics, biomaterials, materials chemistry, fluid mechanics, rheology, and computational modeling. The Term of appointment is based on rank. Expected Salary Range: PDRA: $65,000-$70,000 ARS: $66,000 - $78,000

The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
