Primary Purpose of the Position:

Dr. Kelly A. Murphy of the Winston-Salem State University Department of Psychological Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join her research team for a project dedicated to enhancing the recruitment and retention of Black and Latinx students in Psychology Ph.D. programs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical research aimed at addressing disparities in graduate education and promoting diversity in the field of psychology. This position is funded by an NSF CAREER project entitled Recruitment, Retention, and Graduation: Increasing Representation among Psychology Ph.D. Recipients, and Black and Latinx individuals are highly encouraged to apply. Although it is preferred that the candidate arrange to be local, there may be some flexibility for this to be a hybrid or remote position. This is a 12-month position with the possibility of renewal for 6- or 12-month terms.
