Psychology Instructor (Part-Time Faculty Pool)
Job Description
Ohlone College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for temporary part-time teaching assignments in Psychology. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend courses and may be in-person, online, or hybrid.

Position Description
Part-time faculty postings are for creating applicant pools for as-needed assignments. Applications are accepted year-round and remain active for two years. You may be contacted for interviews as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology according to established course outlines.
- Evaluate student work with clear criteria and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain and submit accurate records like grades and attendance.
- Create an equity-based and welcoming classroom environment.
- Perform duties as per Board policy, faculty contract, and Handbook at various locations.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Psychology; or Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Counseling, Sociology, Statistics, Neuroscience, or Social Work; or equivalent. Must demonstrate commitment to equity, anti-racism, and serving diverse students, including those with disabilities. Evidence of understanding diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded practices is required. - Teaching experience at the community college level.

- Ability to work in a team environment.
