We are looking for a postdoctoral scientist to join the group of Joe Greener to work on improving computational binding free energy methods with a universal biomolecular force field. This will involve training molecular mechanics force fields to reproduce experimental binding free energy data using techniques such as ensemble reweighting. Other applications of machine learning to the simulation of biomolecules, such as developing new enhanced sampling methods, will also be explored.

You will become an early member of a friendly, multi-disciplinary team. The project will involve significant coding using the Julia package Molly.jl on both CPU and GPU, as well as addressing relevant computational and algorithmic questions. You will become an expert in molecular dynamics methods and relevant machine learning techniques. You have a PhD in a relevant subject, or are due to complete within 6 months, and have experience in coding. Previous experience with either molecular dynamics, computational chemistry or machine learning will be an advantage.
