Responsibilities include the following:

• Provide general financial aid counseling to undergraduate and graduate students and their families.
• Conduct financial aid workshops for special interest groups on and off campus, as needed.
• Responsible for reviewing and awarding a designated portion of financial aid files in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations, including performing verification of files as required by Department of Education regulations and guidelines.
• Respond to telephone, email, and written requests for information related to financial aid processing for assigned students and providing customer service for students, parents, and others in relation to financial aid needs.
• Additional hours may be required during peak times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsRequires Baccalaureate degree in an appropriate field of study and a minimum of one year of experience related to the above duties. Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service and public relations skills. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. Must be computer literate.
