"Professor of Practice in Marketing"

The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University invites applications for two full-time non-tenure track Professor of the Practice faculty positions in Marketing starting August 2026. Applicants must have a graduate degree in business or a related field (Ph.D. or DBA preferred but not required). The position’s primary responsibility is teaching in the MBA, Master of Marketing, and undergraduate business minor programs. The salary is competitive; the standard course teaching load is eight half-semester courses per academic year.

The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education, with an enrollment of over 600 students in its MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Marketing, and Master of Management in Health Care programs. In addition, Owen faculty members teach in the Vanderbilt University undergraduate business minor. Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a student body of some 13,500 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, and approximately 1,500 full-time faculty (excluding faculty employed by the Medical Center), of whom 55 have their primary appointment at Owen. Vanderbilt University is situated on a 330-acre campus located a mile and a half south of downtown Nashville.

Home to more than 2.0 million people, the Nashville metropolitan statistical area has over a dozen colleges and universities. Nashville features many cultural and recreational amenities including a symphony orchestra, professional sports, an extensive park system, hiking and biking trails, exceptional restaurants, and live music offerings across a broad variety of genres.
