Position Details:

The Opportunity:

The Program Assistant performs a variety of complex and unique duties associated with public media programs involving membership relations, administration and gift accounting for Northwest Public Broadcasting (NWPB). These duties can include but are not limited to assisting the principles in the areas of membership, outreach, and major donors relation with the administration. Coordination in functions such as: quantitative and qualitative reporting; membership data entry; member and listener correspondence; customer service for members, donors, listeners, viewers and the general public; special event planning support; donation data entry; cash handling; and purchasing.

Additional Information:

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtimeeligible.

Monthly Salary: $3,495.00 to $4,653.00 | Range 39 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer service experience which included telephone or reception duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the field of development or charitable giving.
  • Experience with Allegiance software.
  • One (1) year cash handling experience.
  • Experience processing credit card transactions.
