Join the University of Idaho’s School of Health and Medical Professions as a Program Coordinator supporting clinical education and emerging healthcare programs. This role provides administrative support to students in medicine, clinical psychology, and anatomical sciences, and serves as a key liaison to university offices and external partners. As the first point of contact for concerns, the coordinator researches and assesses issues to help the administrator respond effectively.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.
Duties may include:
- Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
- Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
- Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
- Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
- Maintaining program calendars and schedules
- May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience:
- Working with simulation and classroom equipment
- Working in an academic setting
- Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services
- Providing customer service
- Using centralized computer systems while completing administrative tasks
- Managing calendars and/or scheduling
- Independently solving problems and performing liaison activities in a work setting and coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements
