About the College of Design and Social Context
RMIT’s College of Design and Social Context (DSC) is a large, diverse college that brings together design, technology and social impact. Across nine schools and six research centres, we focus on the built environment, education, media and communication, social studies, and all areas of art and design.
Our six research centres are:
- Centre of Digital Ecosystems
- Centre for Urban Research
- Digital Ethnography Research Centre
- Post-Carbon Research Centre
- Social Equity Research Centre
- WEFT Research Centre
The DSC Research Development team delivers the College’s research plans and provides specialist support including planning, grant development, analytics, digital engagement and service connections.
About the Project
The College of Design and Social Context is seeking a Program Lifecycle Officer to support program transition and Program Lifecycle Activities.
In this role, you may be responsible for:
- Supporting internal stakeholders across the College and University.
- Developing program maps and student transition lists.
- Assisting the Project Lead with the use of the Program Mapping Tool.
- Supporting activities associated with new program development and program discontinuations.
- Liaising across the College and University to ensure quality outcomes and consistency of information relating to program and course lifecycle activities.
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative professional to support program lifecycle and transition activities within a higher education environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a liaison between College and School teams regarding program lifecycle activities.
- Coordinating, compiling, and maintaining reports and documentation.
- Managing data and supporting program mapping activities.
- Collaborating with School Academic Services (SAMS), Student and Program Lifecycle teams, and Program Managers to develop program maps supporting transition activities related to program discontinuation.
- Assisting other teams across the portfolio and College, as required within the scope of the classification.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven expertise in program administration.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles across diverse audiences.
- High-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to in-house software platforms.
- Experience working within Higher Education, with a sound understanding of undergraduate program structures and study plans.
- Experience with program mapping tools and School Academic Services (SAMS) systems is desirable.
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in program administration.
