Program Manager, Oncology Digital Health
Scope of Position
The Program Manager, Oncology Digital Health is a visible administrative leader of the virtual health programs at the James with direct oversight and input over the execution of virtual care programs/projects, related facilities, information technology, equipment management, clinic and vendor relations, contracting, billing, reimbursement, legal, compliance and innovation.
Position Summary
The Program Manager, Oncology Digital Health working with the Director, Oncology Digital Health will be responsible for leading the implementation and growth of digital health solutions at The James. The Program Manager will be responsible for working closely with James, health system and academic leadership, physicians, and operational and technical teams to direct state-of-the-art digital health solutions and programs for patients in all stages of care. Develops professional relationships with identified external vendors/partners. Identifies, develops, accelerates and continually improves digital services across the continuum of care. Working with the Clinical Director and Medical Director, builds buy-in and support from executive stakeholders and leads change management efforts to transform digital healthcare for patients and families. Represents digital strategy to internal and external stakeholders, translating how their use can improve clinical and cost outcomes for patients and clinicians.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field; Master's preferred. 8+ years of experience working in healthcare or relevant field. Knowledge and experience in virtual health/telemedicine strongly preferred and in at least one (preferably several) of the following: patient engagement, population health, strategy & business development; or acute, ambulatory, physician practice operations.
- Experience in project management.
- Solid time management/problem solving skills.
- Experience working effectively with a wide range of colleagues, from entry level to senior executives, physicians, nurses, administrative and information technology staff.
- Ability to maintain a positive, customer-focused, can-do attitude at all times
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and human relations skills, self-motivated, professional.
