"Program Manager, States Leading States"

States Leading States (SLS) is dedicated to creating a coalition of states committed to evaluating the efficacy of state and local education policies. SLS will collaborate with state education agencies (SEAs) to identify key programs or policies and shape research questions for impact evaluation. The Program Manager will support and manage key partnerships with SEAs, ensure execution of milestones, research completion, and dissemination of findings.

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

• Agency Relationship Management (60%): Own relationships with SEA leadership, serve as primary liaison, ensure contractual and operational logistics, plan meetings, assist in analysis plans, facilitate data collection, and manage project timelines.
• Service Design & Content Creation (25%): Create implementation guides, support planning of meetings and convenings, facilitate events, provide feedback on visualizations, and author publications.
• Project Management and Communications (15%): Maintain communications with team members, share insights, develop reports, and present findings.

The role involves coordinating with the Center for Education Policy Research (CEPR) and supporting SDP Fellows.
