JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Lehigh Valley is searching for an adjunct instructor to teach an introductory sociology course for the Fall 2023 semester. This is a one-semester, non-tenure track appointment. Ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Candidates with an engaging, student-centered, and innovative approach to teaching are encouraged to apply. 

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a PhD in Sociology. 
• College-level teaching experience is expected. ​
